# Delete a project

Before deleting a project, you must delete all indexes, assistants, backups, and collections associated with the project. Other project resources, such as API keys, are automatically deleted when the project is deleted.

- `Authorization` (header, string, required) — Bearer authentication header of the form `Bearer <token>`.

## Response

- `202` — Project deletion request accepted.
- `401` — Unauthorized. Possible causes: Invalid API key.
- `403` — Forbidden
- `404` — Not found
- `500` — Internal server error.
- `4XX` — Unexpected error on request.
