## Authorizations

- `Authorization` (header, string, required) — Bearer authentication header of the form `Bearer <token>`.

## Headers

- `X-Pinecone-Api-Version` (header, string, required) — Required date-based version header

## Body

- `name` (body, string, required) — The name of the new project.
- `max_pods` (body, integer) — The maximum number of Pods that can be created in the project. Default is `0` (serverless only).
- `force_encryption_with_cmek` (body, boolean) — Whether to force encryption with a customer-managed encryption key (CMEK). Default is `false`.

## Response

- `200` — The project was successfully created.
- `400` — Bad request. The request body included invalid request parameters.
- `401` — Unauthorized. Possible causes: Invalid API key.
- `403` — Forbidden
- `404` — Not found
- `500` — Internal server error.
- `4XX` — Unexpected error on request.
