# Authentication

Pinecone Admin API declares the schemes below. Each operation documents which schemes it requires; public operations need no credentials.

## Your API keys

This panel is personal to the signed-in reader and is filled in the browser at read time; it is never part of these published bytes.

## BearerAuth

HTTP Bearer

An [access token](https://docs.pinecone.io/guides/organizations/manage-service-accounts#retrieve-an-access-token) must be provided in the `Authorization` header using the `Bearer` scheme.


For operations using this scheme, send your token in the Authorization header.

curl arguments for operations using this scheme (add the operation URL):
